Loreto Pickleball
About Club
Pickleball Club
Welcome
Pickleball is a the fastest growing sport in North America and Loreto BCS is no exception.
Our courts are refurbished tennis courts (formerly the John McEnroe Tennis Center) converted to pickleball courts with cash donations and hard labor from players passionate about the game. They are not part of Loreto Bay nor are they managed by the Loreto Bay Homeowners Association. The landowner, Ostar Hotel Group and the Loreto Bay Golf Resort & Spa has granted the Loreto Pickleball Club permission to utilize their property for a monthly fee. Therefore, while play is open to everyone, we must ask all players to contribute financially so we can continue to cover ongoing costs. 100% of funds received will go towards court maintenance, rental fees, court expansion, and advancement of pickleball in the Loreto area. Guests of the Loreto Bay Golf Resort & Spa are exempt from having to pay any court fees.
We have organized play based on skill level – Beginner/Novice and Intermediate/Advanced for open play/drop in. The courts are first come first serve basis outside of organized play. If there are other waiting for a court, you must limit play to one game and rotate off. There are paddle racks at each site so others can see that you are ready to play. If you are interested in attending a group lesson check the schedule for date and time.
Offseason Schedule (July-September)
During the summer months, with a smaller number of players, our schedule becomes more flexible. Most often, play occurs on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday starting at 6:30 AM. If you’re planning to visit and would like to schedule a game on a specific day and time, simply create a session on PlayTimeScheduler.com, and local players will join in.
